The New Blood, a documentary film about a trio of no-budget horror and science-fiction filmmakers from upstate NY, chronicles the unusual and often hilarious antics of Mike, Lou and Lawrence as they strive to take their horror creations to the big time. RoCo will host a special, one-night exhibition of the props and materials used by the filmakers. Mike, Lou and Lawrence will be in attendance. | ||

Originally created by Rebar, San Francisco art and design collective, PARK(ing) Day is an annual, one-day, global event where artists, activists, and citizens independently but simultaneously temporarily transform metered parking spots into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary public parks. Rochester Contemporary Art Center will again organize several "Parks" outside RoCo as part of the State of the City Exhibition, including the debut of an all new project by in.site Architecture. | |
