Off-Axis

March 14, 1986 - April 19, 1986

Off Axis presents the first exhibition of holographic fine art in Upstate New York. Holograms allow artists to use light to form 3D images, resulting in the audience's ability to view the artwork from multiple angles and perspectives. Among the exhibited works are interactive holograms by Rebecca Deem, color-focused holograms by Sam Moree, spirituality inspired holograms by Fred Unterseher, and works exploring the materiality of holograms by Charles Lysogorski and Doug Tyler.
