Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) and ThINC
announce a new Art Bus line quarterly

(ROCHESTER, NY): On Thursday September 20th, 2007 Rochester art-lovers will have the chance to be part of the maiden voyage of the new ArtBus. Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) and ThINC in Syracuse will take the lead in establishing a regular exchange of art and ideas between several New York cities. Along with other local partner galleries, RoCo and ThINC will establish a system of transport further enabling the arts community to visit city-wide Gallery Nights in both Syracuse and Rochester (‘Third Thursday’ in Syracuse and the newly established ‘First Friday’ in Rochester). Refreshments will be served on the bus and ThINC will work with RoCo to curate the upcoming trips with video, performance, readings and talks that will enliven the journey and contextualize the events that lay ahead at the destination city. After arriving in Syracuse, visitors from Rochester will ride the ‘Connective Corridor’ shuttle to a selection of participating ‘Third Thursday’ Galleries. Art Bus will depart from Rochester Contemporary Art Center at 4pm and return at 10:30pm.

• Cosmology: Works by Alan Singer at Redhouse
• COME ON: Desire Under The Female Gaze at Warehouse Gallery
• Maximum Color at Delavan Art Gallery
• One Week’s Dead by Bihn Dahn at Light Work
