Spiritualism & Telegraphy Walking Tour

November 12, 6-8pm

Celebrate the anniversary of the Fox Sisters’ most famous seance at Corinthian Hall with RoCo and The Landmark Society. Join us at RoCo on Friday, November 12 for your last chance to view Messages & Mediums then walk to three sites associated with Spiritualism and telegraphy en route to the site of the historic Corinthian Hall.

Along the way, we’ll hear from Caitlin Meives, Director of Preservation at The Landmark Society and historian and photographer, Gerry Szymanski, about Rochester sites associated with Spiritualism. Folklorist Hannah Davis, director of Flower City Folk and professor at RIT’s School of Individualized Study, will discuss the Fox Sisters’ cultural impact, spiritualism, and why it’s worth believing.
