RoCo's International Small Art Phenomenon returns for the 19th year!

Special Optional Theme

In partnership with the City of Rochester, RoCo invites the community to enter 6x6 artworks that feature the City of Rochester’s logo. Flower City artworks will be installed on one wall as part of a community-wide celebration of this unique graphic. This is an optional theme for participation in 6x6, The International Small Art Phenomenon, as always all 6x6 artworks will be accepted and displayed.

Designed by Lee Green in 1976, the Flower City/Flour City logo is remarkable in its minimalist, modern, and symmetrical design. It resembles both a lilac petal and a water wheel that powered the flour mills of our past — has become increasingly popular, being used on all things from bumper stickers to t-shirts, to jewelry designs, and more. It’s even a popular tattoo!

6x6 IS A FUNDRAISER! 6x6 the international small art phenomenon brings together thousands of original artworks, made and donated by celebrities, international & local artists, designers, youth and YOU. Each artist may enter up to four artworks of any medium (2D or 3D). Artworks must be six inches square and signed only on the back, to be exhibited anonymously. Participation is free. All artworks will be for sale for $20 each to benefit RoCo. Artists’ names will be revealed to the buyer upon purchase and artworks remain on display through July 25. Limit four artworks per school, no limit for colleges. Entries accepted now through April 4, 2026. *NEW* The first 6000 artworks received will be exhibited in Gallery & Online. 6000+ will be exhibited online only.
