About the Artist
Paul Dodd is a painter, musician, and photographer. He received a BS in Fine Arts in 1978. He has held solo exhibitions at the Little Theatre Cafe, Colleen Buzzard Studio, I-Square Gallery, the Kinetic Gallery at SUNY Geneseo, and RoCo. He has also participated in several group shows including venues such as the Memorial Art Gallery, I-Square Gallery, Schweinfurth, and several MAG Creative Workshop shows. In addition to his visual artwork, Paul also plays drums with the improvisational jazz group Margaret Explosion.
Paul exhibited photographs at RoCo in 2011, in a solo exhibition called Subterranean Surrogates. In 2017, Paul also exhibited in Witness, featuring work by himself and his late father, Leo Dodd. Paul also exhibits regularly in Members Exhibitions and 6×6.
Paul and his wife Peggi have been members since the days of Pyramid Arts Center. When Pyramid became RoCo, the duo designed the logo that we still use today!

RoCo’s Davis-Havens Sales Gallery offers artworks of all styles at a range of prices, all to benefit Rochester Contemporary Art Center. Hundreds of artworks, which have been donated by collectors (and some artists), are rotated on view regularly. Artworks have been given expressly for this ongoing fundraiser so prices are often significantly discounted. All proceeds from the sale of these artworks support the long term future of RoCo.
Our Future Fund Featured Find is a new initiative highlighting a different artwork and artist each month.
