About the Artist

Kathy Calderwood is a painter and retired professor. She taught illustration at Syracuse University from 1981 to 1985, and painting and illustration at Nazareth College from 1985 to 2013.

Calderwood’s work has been included in numerous group exhibitions including the 2010 Florence Biennial, and at institutions such as The Chicago Institute of Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles), and the Hirshhorn Museum (Washington D.C.). She was formerly represented by noted New York art dealer and collector Allan Stone.

RoCo’s Davis-Havens Sales Gallery offers artworks of all styles at a range of prices, all to benefit Rochester Contemporary Art Center. Hundreds of artworks, which have been donated by collectors (and some artists), are rotated on view regularly. Artworks have been given expressly for this ongoing fundraiser so prices are often significantly discounted. All proceeds from the sale of these artworks support the long term future of RoCo.
