Join Catherine Valleroy for an evening of poetry and refreshments marking the completion of her final book of poetry, Seeing, from her series Catherine’s Poetic Life. The first two books in the collection are Better Look and Better Looking, and now the third book Seeing is being released. At 6:30, Catherine will do a short reading from Seeing followed by a book signing. All three books will be available for purchase. Admission is free for this event.

About The Artist

Catherine Valleroy, a native Rochesterian and longtime member of ROCO, has been writing poetry since the age of 7. Her first book, Better Look, is an exploration of becoming authentic, marked by spiritual, descriptive, and mundane journeys inward away from material, self-serving pursuits. Here second book Better Looking is a continuation of this “Looking” for herself. In the final book, Seeing this journey culminates in coming to “See" and beginning to know who she truly is.

Catherine has produced spoken word albums with Ken Kahler and has collaborated with local artist such as Su Begy (sculptor), Nancy Wiley (painter), Joshua Lang (choreographer), Kitty Hubbard (photographer), and Brandon Vick (photographer/videographer) on various multimedia projects.
