September 18, 2026 - September 26, 2026
In this collaboration between MCC’s On the Edge Drama Troupe and Rochester Contemporary Art Center, festivalgoers will be invited to become both creators and participants in a shared work of illuminated art. As each person adds light to the installation, individual actions merge into a larger, radiant image, revealing the power of collective effort. Set beneath the open sky, the piece will transform the space beside RoCo, and reflect a simple but resonant idea: change begins with each of us, but shines brightest when we work together.
This interactive production will take place in the park next to Rochester Contemporary Art Center on historic East Avenue, and is the sixth collaboration between The Troupe and RoCo. The performance will take place in the proximity of the related public art installation Belong by Gianna Stewart.
