Pressure Gradient explores the depth of human resilience and dignity in the face of generational and systemic traumas. Filmed during protests in response to police violence and in the middle of a global pandemic, the film is a story of beauty and power blooming in the harshest environment. Through interviews and extensive documentary footage, Pressure Gradient tells a story of grace and pride amid destruction in a uniquely intimate and fluid way. In this excerpt, and in the forthcoming full-length feature, the filmmaker aims to lift up the voices of the activist movement in his community and offer a love letter to Rochester, NY.
