Process

January 20, 1995 - March 4, 1995

Process features works by Bill Hoag, Paul Nugent, and Todd Smith. Hoag and Smith's collaborative project explores generation, degeneration, and regeneration through the use of organic materials which change over time through both human manipulation and natural processes. Nugent's work includes a series of drawings that explore the three leading causes of accidental deaths in the Rochester, NY area: falls, automotive accidents, and fires. For the duration of the exhibition, Nugent creates a drawing that corresponds with each responding effort made by the Rochester Fire Department. The goal of the exhibition is to give viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the artists' creative processes.
