The Flowery War presents a history of plans by artist Cindy DeFelice to alter the Soldier’s Monument in Caledonia, NY, which was approved, then prohibited from installation. Rather than displaying beautiful snapshots of the installation, DeFelice exhibits the war of lawsuits, village groups and boards, and artistic free speech through video clips and news articles.
