Community Conversation: RDDC’s Proposed BID Plan

January 17

Do you own a property or a business in the East End area? Do you live or work in the East End?
What are your thoughts on RDDC’s proposed BID (Business Improvement District)?
Are you unsure if you will get a say, or how you should vote?
What will be the impact on our arts district?

RDDC (Rochester Downtown Development Corp. / also known as the Partnership for Downtown Rochester, PDR) is proposing a BID, which is an additional taxation district that will include all of the East End. The RDDC has recently released their proposed plan and the community feedback period will end December 31.

RoCo, Ugly Duck, GMC LLC, and other businesses & neighbors are co-hosting a neighborhood discussion and community learning session about the proposed BID. This meeting is intended to help us all share information and discuss the pros and cons for our neighborhood. Various perspectives will be presented by the BID Education Committee. If you can't attend, save the date for another educational session hosted by a range of Neighborhood Associations on Feb. 13th

1. Please read the plan in advance
