Join us online for a live screening and conversation with the artist-contributors of Through the Cracks. Four short videos highlight deeply personal stories of self-reflection and transformation against the backdrop of COVID-19, school closures, and national uprisings against police violence. Artist-Contributors share their thoughts on creative process, media representation, and more during this dynamic broadcast premiere. The conversation will be moderated by the curator Darien Lamen, and feature:
"A Not So Happy New Year," by Mariell Rosario, Ilaina Mahoney, and A'Niya "Zae" Bullard-Smith
"Return to Work," by nilson carroll
"May Days," by Evan Bobrow
"The Road We're On," by the Rochester Homeless Union
This event will be broadcast live on Rochester Contemporary Art Center's Facebook and RCTV's Livestream.
