Last year over 5,000 people
attended an exciting art exhibition of more than 3,500 original artworks made and donated by celebrities, international and local artists, designers, college students, youths, and YOU, all measuring 6"x6". Our goal of 2,008 artworks was met and surpassed as artworks arrived from 22 states and 5 countries as far away as Indonesia! Over 1,000 6x6s were sold during the run of 6x6x2008. So many visitors expressed interest in participating, 6x6 will be held for a second and final year. DON’T MISS THE VISUAL ART EVENT OF SUMMER 2009!

“This is a terrific idea,” said [Carl] Chiarenza, a 72-year-old Brighton resident. “Usually, I complain about events that depend on artists donating their art. But this is fun — an affordable way to support the cause.”

“...a brilliant fundraiser carried out as a multi-leveled game that serves not only to raise money for the art center, but also to involve the public in creating, appreciating, and buying artwork.”
–Rebecca Rafferty, CITY Newspaper

“...with a good eye, you could nab a masterpiece.” –Stuart Low, Democrat and Chronicle
